Stefan Bray, P.E.
Stefan Bray is one of Garrett & Moore’s founding partners and has more than 26 years experience in geotechnical/geo-environmental projects with a focus on solid waste management facilities. His experience includes site investigations, landfill design, geotechnical engineering, environmental permitting, budgeting, contract administration and CQA services during construction, as well as presentations and other public documentation.
A Maryland native, Stefan attended NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina, earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Just for fun…
Before taking his first job, Stefan traveled across the U.S. for a couple years, including in a 5-month camping stint across Alaska. He’s still seeking adventure on the slopes of Colorado, taking multi-day cycling trips, or most recently, hiking on the Amalfi coast. Work and family life may keep Stefan’s trips shorter, but they’re still packed with great views and good friends.
Stefan lives in Raleigh and has three wonderful kids—a middle-schooler, a college student, and a fully-launched adult daughter who is a nurse practicing in Colorado.
