Professional Geologist
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems to manage groundwater resources. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in hydrogeology, with a strong understanding of groundwater modeling software and geotechnical investigation methods.
Responsibilities
Conduct groundwater studies and develop hydrogeological models.
Design, implement and maintain groundwater management systems.
Perform geotechnical investigations and prepare reports.
Manage groundwater monitoring programs and prepare reports for solid waste facilities located in North and South Carolina.
Design and implement assessment monitoring programs and assessment of corrective measures reports.
Design and implementation of corrective action programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field.
Professional Geologist (PG) license plus a minimum of five years of experience post licensure.
Proficiency in hydrogeological investigations.
Experience designing and implementing groundwater contamination corrective action programs.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
