Caroline Funderburk, P.E.

As the newest member of our firm, Caroline brings great energy and fresh perspective to our team. Caroline graduated in 2016 from North Carolina State with her B.S. in Environmental Engineering. We heard, on good authority, that she was one of the smartest and most promising graduates, so we didn’t skip a beat when offering her a role at Garrett & Moore. Fast forward to today, Caroline excels in all aspects of project management, design, and client relationships.

Caroline chose engineering because she loves solving complex problems and whenever possible, discovering new or more efficient solutions. She self reports “geeking” out on the modeling process, finding the final design through iterative modeling.

Just for fun…

Caroline and her husband live in North Carolina. When not working, they seek out as much time in nature as possible, including hikes with their pup on the trails at Umstead Park (near Raleigh) or the the western mountains of NC. They’re also partial to Holden Beach in the winter, when the tourists are gone and they can enjoy the uninterrupted landscape.
