Stephen Nichting

Stephen Nichting has more than 14 years of experience in the solid waste industry, primarily in the private sector, focusing on landfill construction and development as well as landfill operations. He has managed projects extensively in the Southeast as well as projects in Illinois and Kentucky. His experience spans field management, project budgeting, profit and loss management, procurement, engineering and contract management, landfill permitting and all aspects of landfill management. 

He earned his bachelors of science in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1994.  Currently he serves as manager of landfill operations certification for the Solid Waste Association of North America.
